Vegan Green Power Smoothie

Smoothies are always a great quick snack/meal. Not only are they easy to take with you, they are ALSO full of nutrients, fun to experiment with, and very filling! The Vegan Green Power Smoothie is one of my favorite smoothies to make. It’s filled with nutrients, healthy fat, fruits, etc. Try this recipe, experiment with it, and find one that you love!

Ingredients:

  • 4 capsules of Vital Proteins Spirulina

  • 1 banana (frozen makes it thicker)

  • 2 tbsp organic natural peanut butter (Costco brand is my fav)

  • 1 packet of Sambazon Açaí

  • 1 handful of fresh kale

  • 1.5 cups of non-dairy milk

  • handful of ice

Directions: Start by throwing the ice into the bottom of the blender. Then add in your banana, açaí, spirulina, natural peanut butter, kale, and lastly, your non-dairy milk. Blend it all up and throw it into a reusable cup with your reusable straw if you can.

*The Vital Proteins spirulina comes in capsule form, but they are easy to break open and put into your smoothie. The plus of having them in capsule form is that you can take them as a pill when you don't have time to make a smoothie. When you do have time for a smoothie, you can throw them in there. P.S. Make sure you don't throw the capsule into the smoothie, just the spirulina inside of it.

ENJOY!
